This blog stuff is complicated!

I've always considered myself pretty computer savvy, but I have to say even with all the helpful tools at Blogger, this isn't easy! Still working on setting everything up, but in the meantime, I'll share a photo of my dog Jäger, a Hungarian Vizsla:

Yup. That's a piece of grass hanging from his lip, 'cause he's that cool.  

I start my blog with Jäger because he's pretty much central to mine and Eric's life.  He's our furry child, and will be a running star here (especially when I start hunting with the boys!).  So be prepared for dog stories and pictures galore.

That said, I have a few projects on the horizon, including some furniture makeovers and building garden boxes -  also a fun travel post for Valentine's Day weekend when Eric and I go stay at a B&B in Bellaire, MI!  I know you can barely contain yourself, but you'll just have to wait ;)

A New Year

It's 2013 everyone!  That means another year of projects, new hobbies, and plenty of adventures.  Sharing my life through Facebook is tiresome (and status messages are for cat memes and one line political jabs, ya fools), so a new blog/website was certainly in order.  What you should expect on my site: pictures of Jäger (my Vizsla), travel reviews/stories, recipes Eric (my darling boyfriend) has made (cause I don't cook, dontcha know?), crafts and furniture I've made or am in the process of making, and stories about my new adventures as an outdoors-woman!  Phew -- that should be plenty to entertain the masses, or at least the three people I know I can count on reading this :)   Thanks for stopping by!
